Event Description

This is a 4 week online course via Zoom: 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th November 2020.

In these sessions you’ll be invited to explore your own breathing with the intention of awakening your own dormant or latent potentials for freer, easier, more potent breathing.

When you consider that breathing is such a fundamental part of being alive it’s incredible how little awareness we have of what we are doing as we breathe.

The overall theme for these 4 classes will be the Yin and Yang of Breathing.  Initially you’ll be exploring the more passive, receptive Yin aspects of breathing, gradually flowing into the more active dynamic Yang aspects of how you breathe.

The course will include

  • Guided Soma Scans to enhance your sensory awareness of self
  • Lying and Seated Sequences using the breath as means to extend awareness further into yourself
  • Held-Breath Sequences to enhance awareness and to further activate the musculature used when you breathe
  • Variable Breathing Sequences to tune into chest, abdomen and diaphragm and to change the interplay of these areas with the breath. £35.         Links to zoom provided once payment is received.

You will also be added to a Private Facebook Group, where the recording of each class will be uploaded and available for 7 days. That way you can join us even if you can’t make it to the live class, and you will also have the opportunity to re-take the class as many times as you want in the 7 day period between zoom sessions.
