Breath Body Being
an audio immersion of Deep Somatics:
unfolding into spaciousness
breathing | somatic yoga | somatic meditation
Audio recordings for you to connect deeper with your essential self through
sensation, presence and movement:
an experience that unfolds in the moment and continues long after.
Imagine a day where there is nothing to achieve, nowhere to get to…only the experience of being here, together, immersed in movement, breath, and presence. A day to step out of expectation and into direct experience, where every moment unfolds naturally, free from the need to be anything other than what it is.
This audio experience is an invitation to move, to listen, to follow the innate rhythms of breath and body as they weave through space, through connection: with yourself, with others, with the unseen currents of the environment around you. There is no right way, no goal to reach, only the joy of being in motion, the freedom of allowing movement to happen rather than making it happen.
As the recordings draw to a close, you may find yourself feeling deeply nourished – not because you worked for it, but because you allowed yourself to rest into the fullness of the experience. A quiet sense of completion, of having been part of something spacious and alive. And perhaps, as you step forwards, into the flow of daily life, you carry a little more of that spaciousness with you.
Deep Somatics
Much of the somatic work we’ve previously shared could be referred to as surface somatics: explorations that bring awareness to the body through movement and pandiculation, shifting old patterns and restoring ease in the nervous system. These are the sequences that improve function, soften tension, and expand sensory awareness.
But sometimes there is a call to go deeper. So…
– If you’ve been feeling tense, restless, or caught in repeating patterns…
– If you’ve been searching for clarity or direction…
– If you’ve been feeling drained or scattered and want to reconnect to a steadier source within…
– If you can’t quite put your finger on it, but feel something is missing…that there’s something else…
Deep Somatics offers a way to follow awareness into subtler layers of self; moving through sensation and perception, and into the centre of the mandala of our being. Instead of only changing the patterns around the edges, we inhabit the spaciousness at the centre. Here, we can meet what we call the Deep I: a place of intuition, renewal, and quiet resource.
By exploring breathing, somatic yoga, and somatic meditation, we aim to enter a state of deep listening; where movement arises from breath, and spaciousness becomes something we inhabit rather than seek.
This is the space of your inner knowing and wisdom; where everything just makes sense!

Pranaleela: The Breath of Love
Breath is life’s first gift to you. Pranaleela is our description of somatic breath exploration. We explore breath not as a technique, but as an act of nourishment, play, and expansion. Through simple guided explorations, variations of yogic breathing, and breath-led movement, you’ll experience how every inhale can feel like a kindness to yourself, and every exhale a confirmation of contentment and peace.
Somatic Yoga: Connecting with Natural Intelligence
Before habits, before words, there was movement: curious, fluid, and free. This gentle movement exploration revisits the foundational patterns that shaped our earliest interactions with the world, offering a way to reset tension, dissolve limitations, and rediscover effortless ease. A delicious, playful example of ‘no right way’!
Somatic Meditation: Body as the gateway to Being
Our approach is rooted in somatic sensing, non-dual awareness, and deep listening, making it an embodied experience rather than a mental concept. Rather than trying to clear your mind or achieve a particular state, you’ll be guided to tune into what is already present and discover the wisdom that emerges from stillness.
who is this for?
This is for those who are ready, willing, and open to exploring ‘somatic being’ – individually and collectively.
It is for those who sense that movement is not just something we do but something we are.
It is for those who don’t always want to be told what to do, but would like the space to be invited to explore their own possibilities.
It is for those who want to re-set in the comfort of their own home.

meet your teachers
David has over 17 years teaching Somatics and over 30 years working with individuals and groups in various settings. He will be guiding you through Somatic Breathing and exploring Developmental Movement within the immersion.
“My development in Somatic teaching has been influenced by a variety of experiences, including Nia, Aerial Yoga, Pranayama, Somatics, Feldenkrais and many more modalities under the somatic ‘umbrella’. Having worked as a counsellor, group worker, personal development trainer, using Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and aspects of Energy Psychology, I bring a variety of perspectives to the classes, courses and trainings I teach. My interest in Somatic Movement began in 2009 after a bicycle accident. I had a period of relearning how to move and walk. My interest in Somatic Breathing grew out of training in Pranayama and later observing the power of the breath to initiate change within my one to one work as a Clinical Somatic Educator.
Amanda has over 25 years of teaching experience, guiding individuals on their journeys of self-discovery and growth since 1997. She will be delivering SomaDance and Meditation.
“My background is diverse, including 11 years of teaching and practicing Raja Yoga meditation, which has deepened my understanding of mindfulness and inner peace. I spent 8 years as a secondary school teacher, navigating stressful environments and overwhelming workloads—experiences that have shaped my empathetic approach to teaching. Since 2007, I have been sharing the transformative power of movement through somatic practices, including dance, aerial yoga, and somatics. My passion lies in demystifying what may seem complex or ineffable, making it both understandable and reachable for everyone. Guided by my main mantra, “no right way,” I create an inviting and inclusive environment where exploration and self-expression are encouraged. I believe that life can be enjoyable, fun, easy, exciting, and magical when we slow down and recognise its gifts.
possible questions
What exactly will we be doing during the immersion?
Through guided somatic explorations (including breathing, yoga, movement and meditation), we will tune in to how we feel and move, explore movement with possibility and curiosity, and rest into spaciousness. There is no rigid structure, no ‘right way’. There will be guidance, but it’s a time to follow what feels natural and alive in the moment.
Do I need any prior experience with somatics, or meditation?
Not at all. This is not about skill or technique – it’s about tuning into your own body and experience. Whether you’re new to this kind of work or have years of practice, you will be invited to move in a way that feels right for you.
Will there be instructions to follow, or is it more freeform?
There will be gentle guidance and invitations, but nothing to “get right” or perfect. Some explorations may have more direction, while others will be open-ended, allowing you to follow your own rhythm and experience.
Is this physically demanding? What if I have an injury or limited mobility?
This immersion is about easeful movement, not exertion. Everything can be adapted, and you are encouraged to move in ways that feel comfortable for you. If you need to rest, adjust, or simply be, that is always welcome.
How will I feel afterward?
Everyone’s experience is different, but many people may leave feeling deeply rested, open, and nourished. Some describe a sense of inner spaciousness, a quiet clarity, or a renewed connection to their body and breath. We intend to create a space where you can feel light, energised, rested, and deeply connected to yourself.
What’s the benefit of spending a whole day doing this?
Something shifts when we give ourselves extended time to be present, away from the usual pressures of daily life. A single class can be powerful, but a full day allows for deeper immersion, unfolding at a natural pace, and a sense of completion that can linger long after the event.

what people have said about our work:
Just to thank you for 7 years of joy. I’ve probably been along to over 300 classes and everyone was unique, well crafted and brilliantly carried out. And great fun with good people!
I can’t say anything in my life compares with this quality.
Each day & today I’ve noticed how even with just a few reps of whatever we are doing, my body feels so much more integrated, pleasantly warm, & tingly with flow of energy… each day has made me so much more aware of my habitual patterns. When I sit down at the computer I’m taking a moment to tune in & make little adjustments before reaching for the mouse.
I’ve learned a great deal in these 5 days together. Now I know not to just force my body out of a pattern, but instead to use somatic movements to sink deeper into the posture, and then to move in the opposite way, to awaken my brain/body connection to where neutral lives. Incredibly powerful! I know I will continue to do these movements on a regular basis. I feel like there is more space in my body now and I have the power to bring myself into better balance and to release my body from its uncomfortable patterns. Thank you so much
