David and Amanda
Although we often teach together, we bring different qualities to what we offer.
David has a remarkable ability to observe how experience unfolds. Rather than providing answers, he invites curiosity. Rather than telling you what to notice, he helps you discover it for yourself. His teaching has a quiet way of revealing patterns and possibilities that often go unseen, leaving people with a deeper trust in their own direct experience.
Amanda has a gentle ability to create spaces where people feel safe to simply be themselves. Her teaching is grounded in warmth, compassion and an understanding that lasting change never comes through force. Instead, it often begins with softening, listening and recognising that there is nothing to fix, before we even begin.
Together, we create something neither of us could offer alone.
Different Perspectives
We rarely notice the same thing.
David will often pause to offer another perspective, or gently question something Amanda has just said.
Amanda will often ask David to explain an idea more simply, or from another angle if she feels it isn’t yet clear.
Those moments aren’t interruptions. They’re part of how we work.
They remind us, and the people we’re working with, that there isn’t always one way of understanding experience.
Amanda naturally tends to hold the shape of a session, creating a welcoming space and gently guiding its flow. David often notices when it’s time to slow down, linger with a question or explore something unexpected.
We’ve learned that teaching together isn’t about agreeing on everything.
It’s about making space for another way of seeing.
Over the years we’ve come to believe that the most important teacher isn’t Amanda.
Or David.
It’s your own experience.
We don’t believe understanding has to come from us.
More often, it emerges from your own experience.
If, somewhere along the way, you come to know and trust your own experience a little more, then this has been worthwhile.
